About you:
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Oversee all front-of-house restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain exceptional standards of guest service, presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and food safety standards.
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure seamless operations.
Guest Relations:
- Welcome and engage with guests to create memorable dining experiences.
- Address guest concerns, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.
- Build relationships with regular guests and VIP clientele.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, coach, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Schedule employees efficiently to meet operational requirements.
- Foster a positive, professional, and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure staff adherence to grooming, appearance, and service standards.
Financial Management:
- Manage labor costs, staffing budgets, and operational expenses.
- Monitor daily sales performance and profitability.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Control inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Review and approve purchasing requests and vendor orders.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local licensing laws and alcohol service regulations.
- Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of dining areas and facilities.
- Ensure proper cash-handling and security procedures are followed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in upscale or fine dining establishments.
- Strong knowledge of food, beverage, wine service, and hospitality operations.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience.
